Morrison Utility Services Named Best Newcomer at 2017 WOW Awards

Morrison Utility Services (MUS), the UK’s largest, dedicated, independent utility service provider, has been named Best Newcomer at the 2017 WOW Awards.

The Best Newcomer Award recognises the organisation which has launched The WOW! Awards scheme in the past 12 months and have successfully established the initiative into its company.

The award was presented to the MUS Thames Water smart metering team at a gala ceremony at the Radisson Blu Portman Hotel, London.

Steve Goring, Panel Chair of The WOW! Awards, commented: “Morrison Utility Services’ passion for The WOW! Awards is amazing. The way that they have picked up and ran with it in the short time that they have been using the scheme is clear. The amount hard of work that was put into the launch and making the programme a success, overcoming any challenges that they have faced along the way, they have worked tirelessly to embed the scheme into the heart of their organisation. Their sheer enthusiasm was so infectious.”

Morrison Utility Services Chief Executive Jim Arnold commented: “The WOW! Awards are the only independent awards process for customer service based purely on customer compliments. The awards programme provides customers with an opportunity to acknowledge our smart metering teams for delivering excellent customer service and has quickly become a key and successful element of the team’s people engagement approach. It is testament to the team’s hard work and focus that they have been recognised by customers and the WOW! Awards judging panel in this way.”
