Payment can be made by logging onto your IWater profile here.

 

Alternatively, you can give us a call and pay by credit or debit card, all card payments are accepted apart from American Express. You can also pay by cheque or bank transfer.

You can log into your Institute of Water profile here.

 

You will need to enter your username and password when logging in.

You can change your password by logging into your profile here and clicking onto the ‘My settings’ tab.

 

On here you can change your password as well as your username. Alternatively, there is also an option to “reset my password” on the login page.

If you have forgotten your login details please contact us and we can reset these for you.

In order to change your grade you will need to contact us to inform us of which grade you’re interested in, as well as any additional evidence needed.

We currently offer a reduced rate for our retired members.

 

In addition, we also have a ‘retired life member rate’ which is a one-off payment.

Yes, the Institute of Water currently allows members who are thinking of taking a career break or heading off on maternity leave to freeze their membership.

 

Your account will remain activated, but no invoice will be issued. For more information please contact us.

To cancel your membership please give us a call and one of our dedicated team members will be on hand to speak with you.

If you are looking to re-join and your previous profile is still on our system, don’t worry we can reactivate this for you. Please contact us.

Your membership will last for one year, starting from the first day you joined. For example, if you joined on 01/01/20, your membership would then renew on 01/01/21.

To sign up to the mentoring programme click here and create a username and password.

At this stage you will be asked for your Institute of Water membership number. You will then be able to create a mentor/mentee profile outlining your background and experience and/or what area you would like to develop.

Login into your IWater account and select ‘My Profile’. There will be an option to select ‘Would you like to be part of our Young Persons Network?’ Simply tick the box and press save.

We offer all the professional registrations available across the three disciplines of Science, Engineering and Environment.

 

We have a dedicated page to each registration from Technician to Chartered registrations. Clink on the links to read more about the requirements and how to apply.

We have a section on our website dedicated to Continuing Professional Development (CPD), you can access all of our guidance documents and advice here.

 

You can record your CPD online using our exclusive online CPD portal. Simply log in to your online membership portal and select ‘My CPD’.

The Institute of Water is committed to ensuring that its members are actively involved in CPD and assisting them in this.  Our CPD Code  sets out our commitment and expectations of members.

If you are dissatisfied any of the services, we offer or the actions of a member of staff we will try to deal with and resolve the complaint at the point of receipt. If you feel it has not been resolved you can register a complaint in writing, within two months.

The Institute of Water is registered with the Information Commissioner under the Data Protection Act 2018 and applies appropriate protection and management of any personally identifiable information.
