Mentoring Month 2018

Throughout January we have been bringing you weekly updates featuring some of our fantastic mentors and mentees as well as information on how to sign up to our mentoring platform and the benefits of doing so.

A Mentees Perspective

Anthony signed up to the mentoring platform to help motivate himself and set targets to reach his goal of becoming a Chartered Engineer. He has been in a mentoring partnership for 5 months now and is finding the experience very beneficial.

Being a Mentor

The role of a mentor is to contribute towards a mentee’s career aspirations through careful guidance and support. Natalie is currently in a mentoring partnership and finding the process enjoyable and rewarding.

Working Together

January is the perfect time to set personal and professional goals for the year ahead. Becoming a mentor or mentee can help you to achieve those goals! An example of how mentoring can be rewarding to both mentors and mentees is the partnership between Jo and her two mentees at RPS; Darrell and Ryan.

A Mentor’s Perspective

A number of our members who sign up to be mentors have been mentees themselves at some point in their career. It was Ancel’s experience of being a mentee which influenced his decision to sign up to the mentoring platform.
