Selwood launches SelWatch technology – advanced telemetry for its market-leading pump range

Selwood unveils SelWatch – a remote cloud-based telematics tool that offers real-time performance monitoring across its market-leading pump range.

SelWatch provides users with round-the-clock updates including GPS pump location, fuel levels and fuel consumption, engine efficiencies, site water levels and servicing status.

Using the portal, customers can securely log in from anywhere in the world to see live pump data and receive system alerts that flag up changes and highlight potential issues.

Use of SelWatch can significantly reduce downtime, save money and help efficiently schedule events such as refuelling and maintenance.

The system has been designed over two years of research and development to enhance Selwood’s service to rental solution and sales customers.

Mark Bebbington, Technical Solutions Director at Selwood, said: “Digitisation is increasingly important in the water handling and construction industries, where accurate, easily accessible real-time data can significantly reduce downtime and associated costs.

“We have worked closely with customer feedback to develop SelWatch to our precise requirements, giving our customers additional choice and reassuring them that wherever they are in the world, they will be able to monitor performance, diagnose problems and maximise efficiency.

“SelWatch provides added value and visibility across our pump range, underlining our proud history of innovation in pumping solutions and our commitment to providing our customers in the UK and around the globe the very best solutions with our exceptional products and service.”

SelWatch will be offered as an optional extra on the pump solutions rental fleet throughout the company’s comprehensive UK branch network and for sale through its international network of trusted distributors.
