IWA YWP Poster Competition!

After the success of last year’s IWA YWP Online Twitter Poster Competition, we will be running this event for its second year running. This will be open to any Young Water Professional for free who would like to take part from around the globe.

The #IWAPoster Twitter Competition will be an online event held entirely over Twitter to bring members of the IWA YWP research community together to share their research, network and engage in scientific debate.

If interested, please tweet your poster with the hashtag #IWAPoster between 12pm BST Wed 28th April 2021 and 12pm BST Thu 29th April 2021. During this 24hr period, be sure to ask and answer lots of questions among your fellow YWPs to ensure your work is well understood and to make sure you get the most out of the event. Make sure to include the hashtag #IWAPoster in all of your questions and replies, as well as your name and organisation.

Your poster should be accessible in that people from different areas and backgrounds are able to understand it, while also communicating your high quality innovative research. You can choose the dimensions of your poster, just ensure that the text and any figures are clear for people to read and understand. This is your opportunity to showcase the work that you do and your research to a vast audience.

The overall sponsor is Binnies, with WCE sponsoring the ‘Best Poster’ prize (awarded based on the best content, accessibility and design of the poster) and IWater sponsoring the ‘Best Engagement’ prize (awarded for the poster that generates the greatest quality of audience participation via Twitter). There will also be a master judging panel to select the winners of our exciting prizes.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch at iwaukywp@gmail.com or message Natalie Lamb on LinkedIn or Twitter.

We look forward to you joining this online event soon.
