‘I’m a Scientist/Engineer, Get me out of here!’

The Technicians Make it Happen team are kicking off 2019 with a BIG bang!

TMiH team are offering an opportunity to be a part of ‘I’m a Scientist/Engineer, Get me out of here!’ The team are looking for technicians who work in fields related to physics, bio-medicine, psychology, space and energy. Competitors of the X-Factor style online competition must answer the questions of curious school students.  The lucky winner will be awarded £500 to spend on further public engagement.

With the next event running 4–15 March 2019 which is British Science Week, applications are currently open.

Also, if that isn’t enough, Technicians Make it Happen will be at this year’s Big Bang Fair in Birmingham, March 13-16. If you’re a technician, love your job, and you want to help them inspire the next generation of talent, get in touch! For one day only, they’ll ask you to talk to visitors about your company, career path & explain how technicians really make things happen.
