IWA UK Committee
The International Water Association (IWA) UK Committee is a sub-committee of the Institute of Water (IWater) – in effect, IWater hosts the IWA’s UK hub.

The International Water Association (IWA) is a global network of water professionals, bringing the science and practice of water management closer together and covering all facets of the water cycle.
The Institute of Water (IWater) is the convening body of the IWA’s UK hub, and the IWA UK Committee is a sub-committee of the Institute of Water. The IWA UK Committee is made up of IWater members, all of whom you can see below.
IWA UK YWP Conference
The IWA UK Young Water Professionals (YWP) Conference is planned by the IWA UK Committee, with the support of IWater and sponsors. This event usually takes place in the summer of each year and is centred around career progression.
This event is aimed at:
- Those new to the industry (within the last 10 years), regardless of age
- Water professionals looking to progress in their careers
- Those interested in gaining wider industry knowledge
