Utility Week Awards Winners

Utility Week’s prestigious annual awards were held in a virtual ceremony on Tuesday 8th February.

The ceremony saw Anglian Water victorious in three categories – taking home the Net Zero Award, Employer of the Year and the Supply Chain Excellence Award, alongside Kier and Clancy.

Tony Smith, who stepped down as chief executive of customer watchdog CCW last year, was named industry champion.

Winners within the water sector were:

Digital Transformation Award

WINNER: United Utilities

Innovation Award

WINNER: Yorkshire Water and Stantec

Net Zero Award

WINNER: Anglian Water: Low-carbon sustainable agriculture

Supply Chain Excellence Award

WINNER: Anglian Water IMDS Alliance: Anglian Water, Kier and Clancy

Employer of the Year Award

WINNER: Anglian Water

Industry Champion Award

WINNER: Tony Smith (former CEO of CCW)
